Home and Hospital is a program designed as a short-term instructional service to help maintain the continuity of the student’s instructional program during a period of illness or other temporary disability. Home and Hospital is not a credit recovery program.
To enroll in Home and Hospital, your student must have a medical or psychological condition, verified by a licensed physician or psychiatrist. The minimum time a student can be enrolled on Home and Hospital is two (2) weeks with a maximum of nine (9) weeks.
Contact your student's school site counselor (secondary), administration or teacher (elementary) to determine if your child may be eligible for Home and Hospital instruction.
