SHORT-TERM INDEPENDENT STUDY
Short-term Independent Study may be an option for students who have unavoidable absences that will result in missing a minimum of 1 and up to 15 consecutive school days. Before embarking on independent study, the student will be provided with coursework that accounts for each day the student will be absent. The request for short-term independent study must be received by the school at least 7-10 school days before the first expected date of absence. Independent Study for absences of 15 days or more is offered through Briones Independent Study.
