Insurance Program for your Student's Device

Martinez Unified School District partners with School Device Coverage each year to offer insurance for devices that were checked out to students.

-The insurance program is optional and is not required for any MUSD issued device.
-The cost to insure your students device is $30.00 and can be paid on the School Device Coverage Website

The insurance program will cover devices in the event that the device is lost, stolen, or damaged accidentally.  It does not cover accessories such as power adapters. Using this coverage, parents may file a claim against any number of incidents that take place with no deductibles, no added fees, and no claims limits.

Damaged Device Fines
Devices that are returned with damaged, and not covered by School Device Coverage, will be assessed a fine based on the type of damage incurred starting this year.  For more information on this and pricing of the fines you can visit our website at martinezusd.net/technologyfines.
